As part of providing quality care and to give choices to patients on available treatments, all providers keep up to date by attending courses at local, national and international meetings apart from reading medical magazines and discussing current topics with peers.

Dr. Reddys' attended and were certified in Neonatal Resuscitation as well as attended conferences on Cardiology update, Rhumatology update, how to reduce C-section rates and improve child birth.

   Mr. Reddy attended Update and Hands on course in Ultrasound, Prostate problems, Internal Medicine course(5 days in Orlando, Florida), teleconferences on management of depression, hypertension, cholesterol management, management of heart attack Advanced life support course and up dates in primary care medicine course held at Boston.

   Mrs. Reddy attended updates on Perinatal medicine ( care of unborn and newborn baby care), advanced course in Colposcopy & LEEP (for abnormal PAP tests management ) at Philadelphia, PA (3 days), Advanced Life support course, Instructors course in advanced life support course in Obstetrics.

Teaching and Training:
Dexter Family Practice has been involved in teaching future health care providers which include medical students, medical residents, PA students and nursing students.

Dr. Challa Reddy is a preceptor at the Family Practice Residency program at EMMC in Bangor as well as preceptor for SAD #46.
